Distribution: Zambia (Gwembe valley = middle Zambezi), S Malawi, Zimbabwe, C/S Mozambique (on the coast not known north of Quelimane - Kelly 1991), E Botswana, NE South Africa, Swaziland.  
Type locality: “Tette” [Mozambique]
