Double Chocolate Stuffed Hot Cross Buns
So easy to make, you'll want these chocolate hot cross buns every day on the build up to Easter.
We love a Chocolate Hot Cross Bun. It's all of the best bits of a regular hot cross bun, PLUS CHOCOLATE. What's not to like?
And at Easter, we truly believe there's no such thing as too much chocolate. So we've taken a chocolate hot cross bun and made it... *ahem* more decadent.
These Double Chocolate Stuffed Hot Cross Buns are made with a chocolate chip hot cross bun and a super rich chocolate ganache that comes together in minutes on the hob.
The recipe is totally customisable. Feel free to sub out the hot cross bun flavour for any other you fancy. Same goes for the chocolate - milk or white chocolate would both work, we just love the intensity of the dark chocolate in this recipe.
If that's not enough, we've also made two more oozy stuffed hot cross buns! Find the recipes for our Apple Crumble & Custard Stuffed Hot Cross Buns and our Whipped Feta Dip Stuffed Hot Cross Buns right here.
