Drawing a role Model Lion for the Leofinance adoption campaign

Day two of my attempt in art. Still for the Leofinance Zealy quest, this time around participants are expected to draw a Lion, one that depicts the air of superiority of a participant that just powered up great amount of Leo in the LPUD. Well like you already know, I am not great in art but I do give my best. So below is how I created the image above, which is my own king Lion.

Note: All drawings here are mine. However, I took inspiration from this lion drawing tutorial.

Step 1: First of all, I started with an outline of the lions face and body. It also included a section of the tail. The outline will guide me in making sure the entire size of the animal is uniform.

Step 2: The next step is to add the hind legs, extending from the trunk of the lion.

Step 3: Next, I had to draw a mesh on the lions face to help me position the eyes and nose correctly. I also added the ears, and then drew the front legs.

Step 4: I drew an outline of the hairs around the face and front part of the lion's body. Then I completed the lions back.

Step 5: I shaded more hairs in the front part of the body and around the trunk, legs and tail.

Step 6: I had to draw the face of the lion on a separate sheet of paper. I am drawing with pen and I already drew a mesh on the lions face on the original drawing. So I used a separate sheet to do the actual face with eyes, nose, mouth and facial hairs.

Step 7: I imported the two drawing to my PC and opened them in photo editing software. Then I removed the unwanted lines around the trunk and face.

Step 8: I added the lions face.

Step 9: Finally, I colored the drawing. And also removed the background and added a yellow background

Below is another coloring shade

That is how I came to have the image above.
