In short:
● I have over 13 years of IT experience as well as various IT certifications (MCSE, MCSA, CCNA and others). Currently writing exams for 2012 server
● Experience at large enterprises e.g. De Beers (40+ sites globally) dealing with servers
● As I have held senior positions for many years I am comfortable to communicate with people, dispensing advice on decisions and lead junior technicians.
● I have extensive experience in many platforms including VMWare and Hyper-V.
● Used support service products like N-Able
● Personality good with relationships.
● Strong Microsoft server, Active directory experience.
● Exposure to Blade systems for Zurich
● OS updates and patching with WSUS


I have been a fully qualified MCP in excess of 13 years, including an approximate 2 years in the Australian industry . One of the crowns in my experience is the body of work accomplished at De Beers where I honed my skills across multiple sites in multiple domains for multiple sub-companies. This gave me the unique opportunity to tend to large MS architecture in such a way as to appreciate the bigger picture in terms of Microsoft technology interacting with many aspects of business. Having had the opportunity to work with experts on other fields (networking, security, etc.) enabled me to build a non-myopic view of my scope of expertise and allows me to interact well with other people who deal with different technologies.


Although my experience falls mostly in supporting or consulting on Microsoft environments, I also have experience in design and implementation of technologies from MS Windows NT 4.0 up to MS Windows 2012 with AD, Exchange, ISA, VMware and Hyper -V. I have also qualified to support Cisco Ironport Mail and Proxy devices as well as Bluecoat proxies.

To attain a more rounded ICT experience I also acquired a Cisco CCNA qualification (including some experience in the field).
