Stained Glass
Stained Glass are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] Stained Glass goes unnamed in A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker HD, Four Swords Adventures, The Minish Cap, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Location and Uses
A Link to the Past
Stained Glass can be found in the Sanctuary in A Link to the Past.
Ocarina of Time
Stained Glass windows adorn the walls of Ganon's Tower in Ganon's Castle in Ocarina of Time. The windows on the top floor, including those on the ceiling, act as Targets that can be latched on to with the Longshot.
Majora's Mask
Stained Glass is used for windows and light fixtures in the Milk Bar in Majora's Mask.
The Wind Waker
Stained Glass depicting the battle between the Sages and Ganon as well as the latter's sealing within the Sacred Realm can be found inside the chamber housing the Pedestal of the Master Sword in The Wind Waker.
Four Swords Adventures
Stained Glass can be found inside Hyrule Castle in the chamber housing the Portal to the Four Sword Sanctuary in Four Swords Adventures.
The Minish Cap
Stained Glass depictions of the Minish Legend can be found within the Elemental Sanctuary in The Minish Cap.
Twilight Princess
Stained Glass can be found in the chamber housing the Pedestal of the Master Sword in the Temple of Time in the distant past in Twilight Princess. By inserting the Master Sword into its Pedestal, a magical staircase will appear before Link, leading directly to a Stained Glass window that disappears when approached. This is the only way into the depths of the Temple of Time. In the present, Stained Glass can be found inside Agitha's Castle.
Phantom Hourglass
The Stained Glass from Hyrule Castle can be seen during Niko the Pirate's Picture Show at the beginning of Phantom Hourglass.
Spirit Tracks
A Stained Glass depiction of Tetra can be seen in the audience chamber of Hyrule Castle in Spirit Tracks.
Skyward Sword
Stained Glass is used for windows and light fixtures throughout Skyloft and the Pumpkin Landing in Skyward Sword.
A Link Between Worlds
Stained Glass can be seen inside the Sanctuary in A Link Between Worlds.
Other Appearances
Mario Kart 8
Stained Glass can be found inside Hyrule Castle in Mario Kart 8. Each Stained Glass window bears the symbol of one of the Medallions from Ocarina of Time at the top.
Hyrule Warriors
Stained Glass can be seen throughout Skyloft and the Pumpkin Landing in Hyrule Warriors.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Stained Glass appears in Skyloft in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Stained Glass appears in Skyloft in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Trivia
- In the code of The Minish Cap, three unused sprites for Stained Glass exist; they depict the Great Deku Tree, Valoo, and Jabun.
