The banded martin typically is seen in open or bushed grassland, especially in moister areas. Note the characteristic breast band, white eyebrow and square tail. The upper birds were in Tarangire (6-14). The left 2nd row birds were also seen in Tarangire (8-11), courtesy of Colin Beale.
