Thank God, it’s official: Man-bangs are on their way out.
Three of the poster boys for long locks — Chace Crawford, Jared Leto and Zac Efron — are trying out shorter looks. There must have been a memo floating around Hollywood last weekend, ’cause they all flaunted their new ‘dos for the Fourth.
Celebrity stylist Cecilia Care told us the radical cuts could be a result of the boys wanting to be seen as men. “When stars drastically change their image, it’s usually because they want better or more mature roles,” Care noted.
Even so, she couldn’t help but be surprised by the actors’ drastic transformations. “Their hair was each of their signature looks,” Care said. “It’ll be interesting to see how the girls react to them now.”
We have a feeling that for these hotties, girls will keep on coming … bangs or no bangs!
