What Happened To Michael Jackson's 'Oldest Son' Omer Bhatti?

By DM

Many are familiar with Michael Jackson's children Paris Jackson, Prince Jackson, and Prince Michael II Jackson (nicknamed "Blanket"), but the King of Pop was long rumored to have a "long lost" son from his relationship with Debbie Row. Here's what we know about Omer Bhatti, Jackson's (theoretically) oldest son.

Omer Bhatti was born in Oslo, Norway in 1984; he later moved to California, where his mother worked as Prince's nanny, while his father was reportedly one of Michael Jackson's drivers. At Michael's memorial in 2009, Bhatti was seated alongside Jackson's other three children, which definitely got the public's attention.

Paris Jackson is close with Bhatti and calls him her "oldest brother," while the Jackson family patriarch, Joe Jackson, practically confirmed the rumors about Bhatti's parenthood. "I knew [Michael] had another son, yes I did," Joe told TV One in 2009, saying Bhatti "looks like a Jackson, he can dance like a Jackson."

Bhatti, however, shies away from the notion that he is related to the Jacksons, though he does feel close to the singer's children and considers himself an older brother. Today, Bhatti has a thriving dance career, often sharing videos of his moves on his Instagram account, and is also pursuing a music career.
