When working in low light locations, trying to level a piece of strut or conduit, this thing has saved me more than once. The magnets are ridiculously strong. On flat surfaces, the level has to be tipped to the side to break the magnetic attraction to be able to lift it! So, in other words, don't worry about it dropping if you bump what you're working on.

I would give it 5 stars but it lacks the 30˚ & 15˚ angle vials for bending pipe. It's a bit heavy for all day/every day. I keep my tool box nearby most jobs so it's not much of a hassle.

Seems pretty durable so far. It has taken two falls straight to a concrete floor and no signs of damage, barely even a scratch.

Pro tip: be sure to store the thing in your tool box/bag so that it can't be turned on accidentally and wear your batteries down. Battery life seems good so far. I've been using it every day for a month on the included set.

I bought the lighted version. It was sent from California to the UK and arrived 8 days early. If you ever need to put metalwork up in a dark environment like a riser cupboard, this is unrivalled in its usefulness. Otherwise, it's as high a quality 250mm level as any out there. Great aesthetics and sturdy feel. The strong and well positioned rare earth magnets work very well. The vials are very visible, especially in low light when lit. And the supplied AAA batteries lasted me a long time, even with the button being switched on rattling around in my bag at times.
