We have a very big Saanen doe…..

…..she has long horns…..

…..actually they are very long scur-horns…..

*****Fascinating Fascinators*****

Everyone else (of the goat variety) on our farm have been disbudded at an early age…..

…..so was she…..

…..however…..excessive scurs grew back…..

…..in addition…..

…..this butt-head of a goat has learned how to use her horns to her advantage…..

(…..and everyone else’s disadvantage…..)

…..to put it succinctly…..

…..she’s a calculating bitch…..

…..a calculating big bitch with horns…..

She…….doesn’t have a name yet…..

…..I guess I’ll temporarily dub her “Princess Sparkles Unicorn Horns”…..

…..So…..

…..recently…..

…..Princess Sparkles had to be separated from all the other goats…..

…..because she would INTENTIONALLY scoop her head to hook her horns under their collars…..

…..(usually Cami’s)…..

…..and then Princess S. would twist her head…..

…..and twist…..

…..and twist…..

…..and twist…..

The result is that poor Cami would get choked out…..

…..recently I had to rescue a dazed & confused Cami…..

…..she was almost unconscious on the ground…..with Princess Sparkles attached to her taunt/twisted collar…..

…..I necessarily did a swan dive and a belly-flop onto both of them (to hold them on the ground)…..

Cami was limp and couldn’t flail anymore…..she was too oxygen-deprived…..

…..all kinds of fifty shades of gray…..(and not the good kind)…..

But with the combined help of my younger daughter…..

…..(she already knows how to belly-flop on a goat)…..

…..we were able to sit on both of them and pry Cami’s collar loose enough so that we could unhook it…..

…..(not an easy task)-(broken fingernails and pocket knives were involved)…..

…..and let poor Cami breath again…..

Cami is up…..breathing…..and a better color now…..

…..Princess Sparkles is in a separate paddock…..

…..by herself…..
