About Ruwenzori duiker

The Ruwenzori duiker is a stocky but small antelope found only in the Ruwenzori Mountains between Uganda and, probably, Democratic Republic of Congo. They may be a sub-species of the black-fronted duiker or the red-flanked duiker. The Ruwenzori duiker weighs about 15 kilograms and has a shoulder height of about 45 centimeters. They have a rufous coat, lighter on the underbelly and darker on the back. Their short prong-like horns are about 8 centimetres long. They are found in sub-alpine zones above 3,000 meters, where they eat herbs. They are diurnal.
