I captured this close to sunset in the Golden Gate National Park close to the town of Clarens in the Free State of South Africa.
Other than some spectacular views and beautiful cliff faces, the Golden Gate National Park itself really does not have all that much else to offer but either way for a landscape photographer it’s well worth penciling in this one on your trip diary.
Close to sunset the sandstone cliff faces turn a fiery red color if conditions are optimal.
