This Triumph TR3 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1959 Triumph TR3A was acquired by the current owner on BaT in November 2020 following a refurbishment that involved refinishing the body in black, re-trimming the interior in red leather, replacing ignition and braking components, and overhauling the 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes PerTronix electronic ignition, 15″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, a banjo-style steering wheel, Jaeger instrumentation, and a heater. Work under current ownership included overhauling the twin SU carburetors, reupholstering the glovebox, and replacing the starter and fuel pump. This TR3A is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a black soft top and side curtains, Triumph-branded rubber floor mats, and transferable New York registration listing the car as a 1961 model.
