Quick Bio
Peppard was a fairhaired, blue-eyed, handsome leading man who was groomed for stardom in the waning years of the studio system. He studied at the Actor's Studio in New York and, throughout his long career, often starred in Westerns, actions, and thrillers, usually playing tough guys.
The recepient of a Star on Hollywood's "Walk of Fame," Peppard worked hard to overcome a drinking problem that contributed to the disintegration of one of his marriages, of which he had four.  He is survived by three children.
